According to CPSU Vic rules, the first consideration is your workplace postcode, which may place you in a regional electorate (6–9). If you are not in a regional electorate, your electorate is determined by your employer.

Non-Metropolitan Regions

Electorate 6 - Barwon / South Western Region

The Barwon / South Western Region will comprise members employed in a work location determined by the following Australia Post postcodes which are not in the Melbourne Metropolitan area:

  • 3339 - 3426
  • 3458 - 3461
  • 3467 - 3469

Electorate 7 - North Western Region

The North Western Region will comprise members employed in a work location determined by the following Australia Post postcodes which are not in the Melbourne Metropolitan area:

  • 3462 - 3466
  • 3470 - 3558
  • 3562 - 3563
  • 3566 - 3599

Electorate 8 - Gippsland Region

The Gippsland Region will comprise members employed in a work location determined by the following Australia Post postcodes which are not in the Melbourne Metropolitan area:

  • 3810 - 3909
  • 3921 - 3922
  • 3945 - 3974
  • 3980 - 3999

Electorate 9 - North Eastern Region

The North Eastern Region will comprise members employed in a work location determined by the following Australia Post postcodes which are not in the Melbourne Metropolitan area:

  • 3600 - 3751
  • 3756 - 3758
  • 3763 - 3764
  • 3778 - 3780
