The new Baillieu Government and bargaining have dominated 2011 for our members with 35,000 employees awaiting a win-win outcome in similar terms to the recent Police wage deal. 

34 new Agreements negotiated or under negotiation, with 19 including our VPS Agreement awaiting the outcome on wages, classification, & duration negotiations for the Victorian Public Service Agreement to be finalised.

Photo Competition Winner Chosen: Peter Baker's "The Hard Slog"

Peter Baker is the winner of our Photographic Competition. Peter submitted a photograph titled "The Hard Slog" which showed DSE staff building fire control lines.

The judging panel loved the balance and framing of the photograph which reminded us of classic Australian art from the Heidelberg School. Congratulations Peter, you've won an Apple iPad 2 valued at $839.

3 Year Educational Program

Tertiary Scholarship

CPSU in conjunction with SGE Credit Union will continue our tertiary scholarship program this year, awarding $950 per year to support those members and their families attempting a suitable tertiary course with a demonstrated need.

 

A scholarship will be awarded in two categories for $950 per year in each.
