Wages and Conditions

Your wages and conditions of work are set out within Industrial Instruments that apply to your own workplace. CPSU is the bargaining agent responsible for the creation, improvement and maintenance of these agreements.

These agreements are how CPSU ensures you are provided with good working conditions and reasonable rates of pay, and it is these agreements that CPSU works consistently to improve.

There are more than 50 different agreements managed by CPSU, and your first step in learning about your wages and conditions is to find the appropriate one.

Most of our members are covered by the Victorian Public Service Agreement 2009. This agreement covers all core department employees and a number of core victorian government agencies.
